Dear Jim,

Thinking about you this morning. It’s been snowing here a little over the last couple of days, but nothing like up your way.  Jeri’s brother Rocky and his family are visiting with us for a few days. While with us, his little 3yr old daughter Ava saw snow for the first time. You should have seen her face. Her eyes were as big as saucers. She would hold her face up, and try to catch the snowflakes in her mouth.

I took them down to Ground Zero yesterday. It’s an awesome place. No matter how many times I go there, its always a moving experience.

Tonight we go to a show called Drumstruck. It’s a group who plays every kind of drum imaginable.

It’s been so good to be able to talk to you more often now that you are up in New Hampshire.

Your situation seems like a God send and I hope and pray that it continues to work for you.

I hope you can get some more tenants quickly so you’ll have more money coming in.

As we discussed in our talk recently, you will have to play it pretty straight to keep tenants happy. Most don’t want to be around drinking or the smell of pot floating around in the air.

I love to hear you talk about your job. In fact I’ve never heard you speak with such enthusiasm about any of your other work. Remember that construction stuff in Texas you were doing out in the 100+ degree weather?

Too bad about the Cowboys. They’re pretty good but not championship caliber yet.  Looks like Indianapolis might win it all this year. Also are you following the college games?  USC and Texas should be a good game for the college title.

Well, today is a normal work day for me.

I’ve got about four hours of desk work.  I have to deal with some construction people who are working on the roof of our building. I need to visit a couple of church people in hospitals. Later in the afternoon I’ll go by the Club for a workout. Then tonight I’ll grab some dinner with Jeri, Rocky and gang and then go to the musical.  A full day for your old man.  I pulled a back muscle about a month ago, but I’m back to 100% now, kicking some butt and taking names.

Thinking of you every day Jim. Something seems to be happening to you right now.  Something good. Be brave.  Focus on Faith, Hope and Love.

Love you,
