Dear Toby,

Thank you so much for your generous gift to the church of $1000. 00. It is certainly not something that was necessary but deeply appreciated. There’s several ways it might be used. Susan will keep you informed as we continue to discuss it.

You’ve been around the church enough now to know our areas of focus. We’re trying to be inclusive. We’re trying to provide uplifting, strengthening programs and worship. We’re trying to have impact on the world around us. One of the most positive things which has happened here in a long, time is when Susan walked in our door. I’m also very glad that one day you walked in too. (In fact, I remember the very day.)

Again, thanks so much for your generosity, Toby. I just told our Board of Trustees about your gift.
