Dear Matt,

I presented the singers case to the Trustees last night and they responded favorably raising the fee for the singers to $75 per week. They felt this was a fair way to go inasmuch as the singers are singing a little less than before.

They do feel that the singers are fairly paid considering the short amount of time the group rehearses. In this regard they are asking that the group begins their rehearsal at 9:30 am each Sunday.

They also feel that the singers have a freedom at MABC they might not have at some churches….the freedom to take other singing jobs when the opportunity arises.

But the bottom line is that they are very appreciative of the singers and especially the faithfulness of the group so the idea of a raise was voted unanimously. Susan and I feel the same way the Trustees do.
