Dear Bunky,

This is my first letter on my new COMPAQ computer. It’s fitting that it’s to you since in fact you are the bunkiest.

You take care of my sore/numb increasingly strange body.

You make the best pinto beans in New York.

You push me to go to the theatre which I usually enjoy once I’m there.

You maneuver and take care of our travel plans which get us to places all over the world.

You love your family better than anyone I’ve ever seen.

You’ve been patient and loving to my children.

You drink cappucino more enthusiastically.than anyone I’ve ever seen.

You listen to me most of the time and still laugh at a good percentage of my jokes.

You compliment me on most of my sermons and most of the time will drop what you are doing if I need help at the church.

You give me hell sometimes, but you are also my greatest defender and protector.

You like big soft roomy clothing with lots of pockets more than any one I’ve ever seen.

You hold my hand as we stroll, and you hold me when I’m restless and have bad dreams.

You like “Tootsie” and Masterpiece Theatre like I do.

You have Celtic and Irish in your blood just like me.

After all the pain and strain and heartaches we’ve experienced together, you still say you love me.

I love you Bunky.

Mikey.
