I welcome this opportunity to write this appraisal of Brenda Lee because I have known her for approximately twenty-five years and feel she is such an outstanding person. I was her Pastor for many years and we worked together on many projects and on several boards and committees of the church.

She is very self-motivated, organized and dependable. She could always be counted upon to follow through with projects.  She was a very strong leader but she also had the definite ability to follow and to work as a part of a team. She’s the kind of person who likes to be appreciated but she is not high-maintenance and doesn’t have to be the center of attention.

Surely Brenda’s greatest strengths have to do with the combination of her positive outlook, enthusiasm and energy. I am not exaggerating when I say that she lifts the level of things whenever she enters a room. And she has this ability to make even routine and dull projects enjoyable. I saw this in everything from her leadership on boards and committees to her ability to work effectively with the poor and homeless of midtown Manhattan.

Because of her excellent intelligence, her organizational ability and her strong sense of responsibility, I feel that she has excellent potential for achievement in graduate studies. I feel she has the same potential in regard to professional achievement. I have watched her for years as an account executive and as a manufacturer’s representative as she has moved from success to success. And she not only has a terrific work ethic, she also has a very natural ability to get along with a wide diversity of people and personalities.

In short, I feel that Pace University would be very fortunate to have Brenda as a student in your School of Education.  I highly recommend her to you.

Sincerely,
