Dear Jeni,

Let’s get together very soon to follow up on our talk a few weeks ago.  I’m very happy that you feel you can resume your part time work here within the MABC fellowship in June.  We’ll need to discuss further the specific shape of your ministry from that time on.

May 2 and May 23 are going to be very big Sundays for the church.  I hope that you can participate in both of them, both in the planning and also in worship leadership.

Concerning worship this summer, I would like to see you assume full responsibility for worship in July through September 12.  I’ll be in Ireland during that time.

You’ve been missed very much in the life of the community in several ways including your preaching and worship leadership.  But as I look back over your leave of absence, I feel that possibly the area where you’ve been missed the most has been in Board and Committee involvement.  As MABC attempts to focus on the future and on change, I see your input on the boards and committees as not only important but invaluable. 

In the fall I am hoping that the Millinneum Committee will be fully organized and functioning and that the church will have selected a consultant group to set this up with us.  I visualize that each of us will be very involved in this process.

Any time you are ready,  I’ll call together Lois,  Waka and Jim Luce together so you can inform them about your journey.  We’ll get their reaction and decide how we’re going to approach it from that point on.

Jeni, in my estimation MABC’s potential is amazing.  With our location, our financial base and with the inclusive shape the church has taken,  the church can do some dynamic and powerful things in the years to come.  I hope that you are ready to ‘dive in’ now and be a part of what is ahead. 

As I have mentioned to you before, I look to you as a peer in the ministry here.    You can do anything I can do and even better.  I’m ready to give you more responsibility if you want it.
