Blazing sun, peering through dark pines

Me by the window, in the dharma world, thinking Shutaku thoughts

Jeri by the fireplace, in the real world, writing letters to love ones

Me, in the world of dreams, poems

Jeri in the world of hearts, hurts

I pull her toward spirit

She pulls me toward blood.

And vice versa
