Next to me a yuppie fools with her IPad/3G: I hide my scuffed, scarred Verizon LG.
Down the bar a lad drinks his 9am beer with friend nursing her second pomegranate Belini, pecking at some eggs and pesto.
Fire-wall, pharmaceutical and software types engage each other still managing cellphone conversations at the same time.
Interlopers, a mom and dad with kids wander in, categorically out of place.
I’ll say this.
If you could bottle the energy and decibels in here, you could power an AMTRAK.
And speaking of out of place, what’s a 75 year old dinosaur like me doing in a place like this?
